Cost Dashboard
The Cloud Cost Dashboard offers an interactive interface to visualize and analyze your AWS costs. It enables you to gain insights into cost trends, service distribution, and accurate cost forecasting for effective budget planning.
The Cost Dashboard is accessible per environment, with each environment associated with a specific AWS account. This allows users to analyze AWS spending in a focused and granular manner.
To access the Cloud Cost Dashboard:
- Navigate to your Project and choose the desired environment connected with the AWS account you want to analyze.
- Click the Cost Dashboard tab.
- Current Month Spend: This section displays your AWS spending for the current month, providing an immediate snapshot of your costs.
- Service Distribution Analysis: The service distribution section illustrates how your costs are distributed across different AWS services, and what the current vs. estimated total cost is per service. This insight helps you identify which services are the main drivers of your expenses.
- Accurate Cost Forecasts: The forecasting section predicts your AWS costs for the upcoming months and year, based on historical data. This forecasting feature aids in budget planning and ensures cost control.
- Year-to-Date Graph for Trends Analysis: The trends analysis graph provides a year-to-date view of your AWS costs, allowing you to analyze spending patterns over an extended period.
- Regularly review the Cloud Cost Dashboard for your selected environment to stay informed about your AWS spending trends.
- Leverage the forecasting data to proactively plan your budget and allocate resources efficiently.
