To leverage the full capabilities of the Cloud Cost Optimizer feature, seamless integration with Microtica is essential. To get started, you'll need to deploy your cloud resources with Microtica's platform. This process allows you to access the Cloud Cost Optimizer feature within the Microtica ecosystem.
The Cloud Cost Optimizer feature is available for ALL resources deployed in your AWS account, not just the ones deployed with Microtica. So essentially you can save on your whole AWS bill.
To connect your AWS account securely, our simple setup process ensures that we can retrieve your AWS cost data. The integration enables the feature to analyze your AWS spending patterns and provide valuable insights, actionable recommendations, and accurate cost forecasts.
You can connect your AWS account by deploying a template or importing an application into Microtica, as this is part of the three-step process. You'll be prompted to add an AWS account.
You can also integrate with your AWS account by navigating to your environment, selecting the Actions button on the right, and clicking on Connect AWS account.
Any of these actions will initiate the creation of a CloudFormation stack that will give Microtica permissions to provision infrastructure on your AWS account. Once you create the stack, the connection will be established automatically.

Access to the Cloud Cost Optimization feature is available to all Microtica users, and it's fully integrated into the different self-service pricing plans.
