Connect an Exoscale Account

microtica enables infrastructure provisioning directly within your exoscale account to allow microtica to manage cloud resources on your behalf, you need to connect your exoscale account and provide it with the necessary api credentials authentication is handled via an api key and api secret that you create manually in the exoscale console with the appropriate role permissions prerequisites before connecting your account in microtica, you need to generate api credentials in exoscale log in to the exoscale console navigate to iam > keys click add and assign the preferred role permissions required for microtica to manage your infrastructure copy the generated key and secret you will need these in the next step note follow the principle of least privilege by granting only the roles necessary for the tasks microtica needs to perform connect your exoscale account in microtica open https //app microtica com from the side menu, go to integrations > cloud accounts click the connect exoscale account button in the modal dialog, fill in the following fields name a user friendly name for this account as it will appear in the microtica console api key the api key you created in the exoscale console api secret the api secret associated with your api key ] click connect once connected, your exoscale account will appear under connected cloud accounts revoking access to revoke microtica's access to your exoscale account, delete the api key from the exoscale console after that, microtica will no longer be able to access your cloud account
